Dr. Roger Terrill is Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at San Jose State University. He received his PhD from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Terrill's postdoctoral appointment was at the University of Illinois working with analytical spectroscopist, surface plasmon spectroscopy, electrochemistry and grazing angle infrared spectroscopy. Dr. Terrill's PhD was with Professor Royce Murray at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, working in molecular electronics.
Dr. Terrill’s research interests may be characterized as optical and electrochemical sensing, focusing on SERS, Fullerene-based carbon sensors and surface plasmon-electrochemistry.
